Polyethylene netting is an extremely popular and versatile netting type. Double Diamond polyethylene netting has many applications including the following:

  • Professional fishermen: prawn trawls, cod ends, beach haul nets, deep sea drag nets

  • Sporting: cricket practice nets, indoor sports, soccer nets, golf practice netting

  • Safety: playgrounds, crowd control, barrier fencing

  • Bird control – knotless polyethylene

  • Decorative netting and many other general applications

 P/E netting is long lasting, UV protected, and extremely tight knotted to ensure the integrity of the net over time. The netting is “double salvaged” – indicating that one row on the top and bottom of the net is double reinforced, to ensure higher strength at a nets weakest point.

 Polyethylene netting is generally available in both square and diamond mesh shapes. It is generally measured as a stretched lengthwise bundle, but from time to time can be measured depth wise.

Polyethylene knotted netting has several characteristics:

PE Net

     1. The netting is very abrasion resistant, extremely tough, and does not wear out as quickly as twisted knotted polyethylene twine netting. It is ideally suited for applications where the netting is dragged across or rubbing against rocks or sand.

     2. The tensile (breaking strength) can vary considerably depending on the diameter of the filaments, the number of filaments in the jacket and core of the twine, as well as the quality of the resin from which the filaments are made.

     3. Braided Knotted Polyethylene Netting will float on the surface of water.

     4. Usually more expensive per pound than twisted knotted polyethylene netting.

     5. Harder to repair than twisted polyethylene netting.

     Polyethylene  netting is made from high quality, virgin resin with ultra violet inhibitors and dyes added at extrusion, resulting in  excellent tensile (breaking) strength, and superior longevity in the sun. All polyethylene netting is heatset  to provide tight knots that resist slipping under pressure.  Our factory is state of the art with stringent quality control which ensures consistent mesh and twine sizes throughout the netting.  Polyethylene  factory manufacturers a wide range of twine sizes in most any mesh size, meshes deep, or color.
