Log Boom System Components
TLEC supplies complete components for log boom systems, covering both new installations and maintenance works.
We also provide replacement parts for damaged or worn components to ensure continued safety and performance of the system.
FLOAT
The Log Boom float is manufactured from industrial-grade LLDPE using a rotational molding process. Designed with a heavy-duty shell construction and a minimum wall thickness of 4.5 mm, it provides enhanced structural integrity, seamless strength, superior impact resistance, and UV stability—ensuring reliable long-term performance in aquatic environments.
ROPE 8 STRAND
The 8-strand rope features a plaited construction consisting of eight interwoven strands, providing superior strength and balanced load distribution.
It is designed to serve as the main rope in Log Boom systems, capable of withstanding tensile forces from water currents, impact loads from floating debris or logs, and accumulated longitudinal loads along the boom line.
The 8-strand construction offers high tensile strength, improved load stability, reduced rotational tendency (non-rotational characteristic), and enhanced abrasion resistance, making it suitable for continuous operation in marine and freshwater environments.
ROPE 3&4 STRAND
The 3-strand rope in the Log Boom system functions as a lashing rope used to secure the floats to the debris containment net and to connect the net assembly to the main rope of the system.
It is required to possess adequate tensile strength, abrasion resistance, and durability for outdoor environmental conditions.
