
Project Overview
TLEC Engineering participated in the design and tender process for the log boom system at the Nam Theun 1 Hydropower Project. This project involved the engineering design of a single-span log boom system with a total length of 719 meters. Due to the extended span and site conditions, the project required detailed structural analysis, load calculations, and anchoring design to ensure long-term performance and stability. The 719-meter single span represents one of the longest continuous log boom configurations undertaken, demonstrating TLEC Engineering’s capability in large-scale hydropower engineering works.
