Project Overview
TLEC Engineering was awarded the contract for the log boom system improvement at Mae Klong Dam, operated by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT).
The project aimed to improve debris and aquatic weed retention efficiency at the intake area of the power plant, where floating waste and natural obstructions had affected operational performance.
TLEC Engineering was selected as the winning bidder through a competitive tender process by presenting an innovative anchoring concept at the irrigation structure columns. The proposed design allowed the anchoring system to be detachable and re-installable, enabling convenient maintenance while maintaining structural integrity and safety.
In addition, the company designed and executed the connection system between the existing log boom units and the newly extended sections, ensuring compatibility, strength continuity, and long-term durability under hydraulic loading conditions.
