Technical Overview TLEC Float is manufactured from Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) using a rotational molding (rotomolded) process, ensuring seamless construction and uniform wall thickness throughout the entire body. Engineering Features Heavy-wall construction providing high impact resistance, suitable for harsh hydropower and debris-laden water environments. UV-stabilized LLDPE material designed for long-term outdoor exposure under intense sunlight conditions. Solid internal closed-cell foam core that does not absorb water, delivering unsinkable performance and maintaining buoyancy even in the event of external shell damage or puncture. Engineered for integration into Log Boom and Debris Control Systems installed at hydropower dams, intake structures, and reservoir protection zones. Standard Color Standard: Safety Yellow Optional colors: International Orange, Log Boom Brown, Forest Green, or project-specific custom colors upon request.

Size - Standard : Dia 60cm (24in) x 1.20m (4-ft) long.

Technical Specifications Diameter: 600 mm (24 in) Length: 1,200 mm (48 in) Dry Weight: 22 kg (48.5 lbs) Buoyancy Capacity: 250 kg (551 lbs) Freeboard: 500 mm (20 in) Core Construction: Fully filled with high-density polyurethane (PU) foam to prevent water ingress and maintain buoyancy even in case of outer shell damage.

Optional System Configurations Custom-Depth Submerged Barrier System Our log boom system can be engineered with adjustable underwater skirt depth to meet specific project requirements. The submerged section is designed to prevent logs, debris, or other materials from passing beneath the boom, with depth customized according to site conditions and client needs. Surface Gap Closure Net Panels Protective net panels installed above the waterline between float sections to eliminate open gaps. This design prevents floating debris and logs from escaping through spaces between the booms. Small Boat Access Gate A specially designed gate section that allows small boats to pass through for inspection, maintenance, or operational access inside the boom area — without dismantling the entire log boom system.
