Use the Log Boom in areas where the water level up and down that it easily to be damaged. The float made by stainless or steel tank, which when used in a semi-aquatic or semi-sunny it make a rust of colour.
Without making a re-painting when corrosion occurred the water could seep into the interior. If water can be a considerable amount It will make float sink.
Therefore, there is a material change of the float by switching to plastic poly ethylene (Polyethylene), which is resistant to ultra violet radiation, heat at least 40°C and acid and alkali.
The texture of the material when the sun is not broken and bent the frame. There is also a mixture of UV increases long operation period that TLEC has designed the TLEC float to improve all problem of the float based on our experience and data collected in the past.
Specifications;
- Float is made from Polyethylene (PE) which has the advantage to resistance the UV, heat not less than 40 C and other chemicals such as Acetic Acid 10%, Carbonic Acid, Chromic Acid 20%, Calcium-Carbonate, and Aluminium Chloride. Outer cover is long lasting when it is exposed to the sunlight, it is not broken and bending.
- The inner is filled up with Polyurethane Foam which has the advantage to non-absorption, long-lasting, well-floating.
- Minimum wall thickness – 4.0 mm.
- Colour – Fluorescent orange
- Weight – Approx 22 kg

Production process
Prepare of steel mold and pour the plastic pellets to the mold
Bring up the machine. Use a blower to dissolve the plastic pellets for 1 day, producing about 5-6 floats per day.
Remove the float from the mold
Let it cool down.
Bring the float to the mold. And drill a small hole. To prepare PU Foam injection.
Injection PU foam overflow
Decorated with notched holes and wrapped with plastic.
Delivery arrangements.
QC (Quality Control)
A random sample was taken and weighed. The weight of the buoy before foam injection is approximately 11-12 kg.
Cut it in half to check the internal surface.
Measure the thickness. The thickness is approximately 4-5 mm.
The weight after fully injecting the foam will be approximately 22 kg.
Cut it in half to check. The PU foam is filled inside the buoy.
Check in tight areas to make sure the PU foam reaches all points.
